"Welcome to Della Resorts. This luxurious property, which is the first one in India to offer Experiential Hospitality, is the culmination of my vision as a hotelier, entrepreneur, adventurer and real estate developer. I’ve been proud to pioneer a number of initiatives through my varied businesses, and through Della Resorts, my team and I have managed to create our personal playground of sorts, that offers a one-of-its-kind getaway destination for the entire family. Since we opened in 2009, we have been fortunate to be visited by couples, families, groups of friends, corporates, and are also considered a prime location for destination weddings."
My entrepreneurial journey has always been spurred by me taking some risks - generating and executing ideas that may have seemed unusual at the time, but which have always been met with success. Della - this sprawling, multi-resort property, all housed on the same complex, is one such example.
Here, we offer family fun, adventure, glamping, and even India’s only military-themed resort - DATA. Our offerings may have seemed out of the ordinary, but they have fulfilled a requirement that our guests didn’t even seem to know they had, when considering their next vacation destination! This has led to the creation of a die-hard group of Della loyalists, who we welcome back to our resorts frequently.
At Della Resorts, I have been able to leverage my expertise across my varied businesses and incorporate these skills into our hospitality venture. My 23 years of unmatched expertise and experience in the design and retail worlds has allowed me to be personally involved in the unique design of each resort that Della offers via by company Della by Jimmy Mistry. From the soft furnishings to the room layouts, the restaurant identities, and each amenity - I have enjoyed being able to apply my mind to each detail. My corporate background led to what has now become Della Adventure, a place where corporates can book retreats, team-building getaways, and so much more.
There was a lack of strong players in this regard, and Della Adventures has now filled this gap. We offer a mix of thrills and innovative activities found nowhere else, all in a safe and highly monitored environment that corporates truly enjoy. My inherent belief in our country and my strong feelings of patriotism gave birth to Della DATA - our military-themed resort, where guests learn to develop mental conditioning and survival skills, through a variety of training programs and modules conducted by members of the ex-armed forces. Finally, my passion for all things luxury, and my extensive travels and experiences have allowed me to develop and create Della Villas, our luxury second homes in a gated community, that greatly appeal to a discerning, well-heeled audience.
